About Jim

After graduating from college with a degree in math and physics, I got married and had a rewarding career with UPS as an Industrial Engineering Division Manager over the states of Utah and Idaho, and later, over the state of Tennessee. My wife and I have two wonderful children, and we have five beautiful grandchildren.

After retiring from UPS, I did some consulting and served as the Operations Manager for a division of Cardinal Health. Later, my wife and I moved back to Texas, where I retired a second time from the University of Texas at Austin and San Antonio. There, I served as a Fleet and Transportation Manager. 

Why I wrote this book: As a youngster, I was raised in a Christian home, and I continued in that tradition into adulthood, serving as a deacon, elder, and teacher in some of the churches I attended while UPS transferred my family around the country. While working at UTSA, in my spare time, I was able to co-host a Christian radio show for about a year, wrote another book, and co-authored one more. After these experiences, I was able to write this third book about the Third Heaven with all of the wonderful and encouraging news that is attached to the subject.
